The book
Autism, ADHD and Me Your No Bullshit Guide to Life After Late Diagnosis
The guide I couldn't find when I was diagnosed. Honest stories from my own life, practical ways to understand how your brain works, and permission to stop fighting yourself and start building a life that fits.
The companion workbook, with all the exercises and prompts, is on Amazon too.
Why I wrote it

When I was diagnosed, my GP barely glanced at my report. I was married with kids, so apparently I was functioning fine, and I was told there was no support for someone like me.
I wasn't fine. I was drowning in burnout, sensory overload and masking so hard I didn't know who I was any more, while carrying most of the mental load for my whole family.
Neurodivergence hadn't been on my radar until about a year before. A few conversations sent me into research mode, and the more I read, the more I recognised myself. I printed out a checklist of autistic traits, highlighted trait after trait, and took it to my GP to ask for an assessment.
When the diagnoses came, everything made sense, and I had no idea what to do with it. I went looking for resources and almost everything near me was built for autistic boys or people with additional learning disabilities. I had answers, but I didn't have a plan.
So I wrote the resource I couldn't find. It isn't about fixing you, because you were never broken. It's about understanding how you're wired and building a life that genuinely fits you.
