I started my podcast, Autism, ADHD & Us Three in January 2024, because I wanted to create a space where honest, relatable conversations about neurodivergence could flourish. As a late-diagnosed autistic and ADHD woman, I know how isolating and overwhelming it can feel to navigate life when you’re just starting to understand your neurodivergence. The podcast is a way for me to share my experiences, connect with others, and explore the complexities of living as a neurodivergent adult and parent.
The truth is, so much of what I’ve learned about myself has come from hearing the stories of others—real, lived experiences that shine a light on what it truly means to live and thrive with neurodivergence. That’s what I hope to provide for my listeners: connection, validation, and practical insights that empower them to embrace who they are, quirks and all.
I also wanted to create a platform to amplify the voices of other neurodivergent individuals and advocates. By sharing these diverse perspectives, I hope to challenge outdated stereotypes and promote greater understanding of the realities of autism and ADHD. I also wanted to build a safe community for people like me to explore how to parent their kids in the ways that work for them and their whole family, not the way that society has conditioned us to, full of anxiety and shame.
Most importantly, this podcast is for us—for the parents trying to support their neurodivergent kids, for the adults figuring out who they are after a late diagnosis, and for anyone who’s ever felt like they didn’t quite fit in. Autism, ADHD & Us Three is about building community, finding joy, and celebrating the beautiful, messy reality of neurodivergent life.
