What information we collect, use, and why
We collect or use the following information when you interact with Audhdistically Me in order to provide services, digital resources, programmes, memberships, and coaching services:
- Names and contact details (such as email address and phone number)
- Optional social media identifiers (such as Instagram usernames) where voluntarily provided
- Addresses (where relevant)
- Date of birth (where relevant)
- Account registration details
- Purchase history and transaction information
- Payment details (including card or bank information processed via secure third-party payment providers)
- Website user information (including user journeys, analytics, and cookie tracking)
- Marketing preferences and communication consent
- Photographs or video recordings where consent has been given
- Call recordings
- Records of meetings, coaching sessions, or decisions
- Information relating to enquiries, compliments, or complaints
Some services may also involve the use of automated tools or artificial intelligence systems to generate reflective prompts, summaries, or responses based on user input. These tools are used to support the services provided and do not replace professional advice.
The Burnout Buddy app
Burnout Buddy is our rest and self-reflection app, included with membership and available by subscription. If you use it, this is what happens with your information.
We store your email address and whether your access is active, because that is how the app knows to let you in. The lawful basis for this is contract.
If you choose to switch on the app's memory, we also store your check-ins: the feeling you tapped, the kind of rest it pointed to, the activity size you chose and when it happened. If you use the diary, we also store your entries, your mood words and any body signals you tap. Because this relates to your wellbeing, the law treats it as special category data, and we only ever store it with your explicit consent, which the app asks for in plain words before anything is saved. The lawful basis is explicit consent, and our additional condition for processing special category data is that consent. You can withdraw consent at any time from the My Pattern page inside the app, which stops anything new being stored, and you can ask us to delete what is already stored at any time. If you talk with Brian, your messages are sent securely to OpenAI to generate his replies. OpenAI does not use them to train its systems, and holds them only briefly for its own security checks before deleting them. We do not save your conversations.
If you use the voice option, your recording is sent securely to OpenAI to be turned into text. OpenAI does not use it to train its systems, and holds it only briefly for its own security checks before deleting it. We never store the audio ourselves. The app also creates short pattern summaries from your check-ins and diary entries, and these are stored with the same consent and deletion promises as everything else. To create your reflection, your recent check-ins and diary entries are sent securely to OpenAI. OpenAI does not use them to train its systems, and holds them only briefly for its own security checks before deleting them.
Your Burnout Buddy data is held by Supabase in their Ireland region, inside the European Union, with security rules that mean you can only ever read your own records. The app is hosted by Netlify, login emails are sent through IONOS, and membership status updates travel through Make.com. Each of these acts only on our instructions. Your check-in data is never sold, never shared for marketing and never used to train AI systems.
If your membership or subscription ends, your Burnout Buddy access switches off and your app data is deleted after a 30 day grace period, or sooner if you ask. Burnout Buddy is a self-reflection tool, not a medical device, and it does not diagnose or treat anything.

Where contact details are provided, communication may take place via email or messaging platforms where appropriate, including SMS or WhatsApp where a phone number has been voluntarily provided.
Where a social media username (such as an Instagram handle) is voluntarily provided, it may be used to communicate with you on that platform in relation to your enquiry, participation in a community, or engagement with Audhdistically Me content. Social media usernames will not be used to access accounts or collect additional data beyond what is publicly available.

Cookies and analytics on this website
This website uses Google Analytics to see which pages get read, where visitors found us and which buttons get pressed. It only switches on if you say yes on the cookie banner. If you say no, no analytics cookies are set. We remember your choice in one small cookie called am_consent for 180 days, and you can change it at any time using the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. Google explains how it uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Some pages show content from other services when you use them: sign-up forms from our email platform, Funnel Sketchers; the latest podcast episodes from Apple Podcasts; and, on the press page, a video from YouTube, which only loads if you press play. The press page itself sets no cookies.
